Dobritz is a district of the city of Zerbst / Anhalt in the district of Anhalt- Bitterfeld, in Saxony -Anhalt ( Germany ).

Geography

Dobritz is located at the middle Nuthearm, 8 kilometers north-east of Zerbst, on the outskirts of the southwestern flaming.

History

Until December 31, 2009 Dobritz was an independent municipality. On 1 January 2010, the annexation was to Zerbst / Anhalt.

Coat of arms

The coat of arms was approved on 31 May 1994 by the regional council of Dessau and registered in the State Archives Magdeburg under the coat of arms registration number 24/1994.

The municipality colors are white and red.

This congregation colors were chosen because the village was in the Middle Ages to the County of Lindau, which led these colors. The ear is for agriculture, which was the acquisition basis of the place since early times. The acorn illustrates the richness of the forest, especially in mixed forest; two-thirds of the district is forested and Dobritz currently exhibiting the strongest and oldest oak tree in the district of Zerbst. The village is located on the Dobritz L 57, which runs from Zerbst / Anhalt after Wiesenburg / Mark Brandenburg. To the south, a road leads into the 16 km distant city of Dessau. In Zerbst 13 km away, is connected by train to Magdeburg and Dessau.
