Do not Judge Me is a song by American singer Chris Brown and the fifth single from his fifth studio album Fortune. The song was released on 15 August 2012.

Content and composition

Do not Judge Me is a love song, sung by Brown with the role of his girlfriend should not judge him, as there are rumors about him, but no longer vote according to him ( I will not deny what they say / Because most of it is true / But it what all before I fell for you ). The song was written by Adam Messinger, Nasri Atweh and Chris Brown.

The video for Do not Judge Me was directed by Colin Tilley Director and Chris Brown in August 2012. published on 6 October 2012. It shows Brown as he arrives by truck to a military base, there to carry out a suicide mission. When he arrived there, his girlfriend comes and asks him why he wants to do this. He says he 'll do it for the country, the planet and the people I love. If it was what he needed to do, he 'll do it. From there it is transported into space and destroyed there by a giant octopus. In between scenes of him often appears next to a couch with a woman.

Criticism

Do not Judge Me received mixed reviews. Trent Fitzgerald of PopCrush Mesfin Fekadu The Associated Press and regarded it as one of the most outstanding tracks from Fortune. Amy Sciarretto found that this song shows a side we rarely been looked at Chris Brown. Jamel Coles, the UAB Kaleidoscope described Do not Judge Me as emotional track and wrote: " while listening to songs like this, one could his ability to make good music not deny. " Jasmine Grant from Juicy Magazine has the song regarded as being heartfelt ballad wrote Maura Johnston of Rolling Stone, it sounds like a Twitter outcry against Hater.
