Dongfeng Peugeot-Citroën

Dongfeng Peugeot -Citroën Automobile ( DPCA ) is a joint venture between PSA Peugeot -Citroen and Dongfeng Motor Corporation, which was founded in 1992 in Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, and manufactures passenger cars, the Citroën and Peugeot for the Chinese market.

History

Previously, PSA was since 1985 with the joint venture Guangzhou Peugeot Automobile Company ( GPAC ) active in China, but which existed only until 1997.

1990 ( even then SAW - Second Automobile Work) was brought with Dongfeng joint venture on the road, then in 1992 as the Dongfeng Peugeot-Citroën Automobile ( DPCA ) was officially established.
