E.ON Russia
OGK -4 (Russian ОГК -4, full name Оптовая генерирующая компания № 4) is an electric utility in Russia. It is majority owned by the E.ON group.
OGK -4 was established in March 2005 to July 2006 and the end of 2007 had about 5300 employees. It operates five power plants with a capacity of 10,343 megawatts:
- Surgutskaja GRES -2 ( in Surgut, Khanty -Mansi / Yugra ) - 5597 MW
- Berjosowskaja GRES ( in Scharypowo, Krasnoyarsk ) - 1600 MW
- Schaturskaja GRES -5 ( in Schatura, Moscow Oblast ) - 1500 MW
- Jaiwinskaja GRES ( in Jaiwa, Perm region ) - 1016 MW
- Smolenskaja GRES ( in Osjorny, Smolensk Oblast ) - 630 MW
In October 2007, E.ON Russia Power, a subsidiary of E.ON, adopted a share of 78.3 percent of OGK -4. At the end of fiscal year 2012, the E.ON SE held a 83.7 percent stake in E.ON Russia.
In July 2011, the company was renamed E.ON Russia JSC.
