Éric Charron

Éric Charron ( born January 14, 1970 in Verdun, Quebec ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player who is in the National Hockey League for the Montreal Canadiens, in the German Ice Hockey League for the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Washington Capitals and the Calgary Flames and Adler Mannheim was active.

Playing career

The 1.91 m tall defender started his career with various teams in the Canadian Junior Football League QMJHL before he selected at the NHL Entry Draft in 1988 as 20th in the first round by the Montreal Canadiens ( drafted ) was.

His first NHL inserts for the Canadiens completed the links gunman in the 1992/93 season, the season in which the team so far for the last time won the Stanley Cup. In 2001 the Canadians to Europe where he one season for the Adler Mannheim in the DEL, the contested Nottingham Panthers in the British Ice Hockey Super League and for the HK Sibir Novosibirsk in the Russian Super League. 2004 Éric Charron returned back to North America where he played for several teams in the LNAH ever since.
