Eric Werner

Eric Werner ( born January 26, 1983 in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan ) is an American professional ice hockey player who is since August 2012 in the Nottingham Panthers in the Elite Ice Hockey League contract.

Career

Werner played earlier in the season 2007/ 08 for Ilves Tampere in the Finnish SM- liiga, his first stop in Europe, and subsequently signed a contract with the DEG Metro Stars of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga, for which he uses the rest of the season and the play -offs completed. Prior to the defender in the North American Hockey was active and played primarily in the Minor Leagues. His career since 1999, several teams of youth development program of the Association of USA Hockey in the North American Hockey League and United States Hockey League, the Sioux Falls Stampede, the team from the University of Michigan in the game operation of the National Collegiate Athletic Association and from 2005 to 2007, the AHL Team Manchester Monarchs and their farm team, the Reading Royals of the ECHL. For the season 2010/11 Werner was taken from HK Jesenice of the Austrian Hockey League contract.
