Faaborg Municipality

Faaborg municipality was until December 2006 a Danish municipality on the island of Funen in the former County of Funen. Since January 2007 she has been together with the municipalities Broby, rings, Ryslinge and Årslev part of the newly formed Faaborg - Midtfyn municipality.

Faaborg municipality was created in the course of administrative reform of 1970 and included the following Sogn:
