Fabian Schönheim

Fabian Schönheim (born 14 February 1987 in Kirn ) is a German football player.

Career

Clubs

Nice home football career began at FSV Rehborn. There he played from 1993 to 1997 and - after a one-year stint at SG Desloch - Jeckenbach - 1998-2001 In 2001, he came as a youth player for 1.FC Kaiserslautern.. In the season 2005/ 06 he was on 22 October 2005 his debut in the Bundesliga with Borussia Mönchengladbach. His first and only goal in the Bundesliga he scored on the mountain Betz on 7 February 2006 against 1 FC Cologne 2-2 draw. For the second half of the season 2008/ 09 changed Schönheim to Wehen with which he descended from the 2nd Bundesliga. For the 2011/12 season changed Schönheim for Bundesliga 1 FSV Mainz 05 He signed a three-year contract until 30 June 2014. Via the release arrangements were not disclosed. For the 2012/13 season he undertook the first FC Union Berlin initially for one year on loan. Following the season, the club used its purchase option and gave Schönheim a contract until 2015.

August 15, 2006 Schönheim debuted in the German U21 national team. In the match against the Netherlands he was in the starting lineup.
