FC Forex Brașov

Forex Braşov is a Romanian sports club from Braşov. To the club include departments in three sports: football, fencing and figure skating. The club was founded on 3 October 2002 and has since been funded by the companies active in the field of wood technology businessman Nicolae Ţucunel. Other investors at times also included Ion Matei, the father of the Romanian football national player Adrian Ilie.

Football Division

History

The football team of the association started with his first official game on 5 September 2003 under manager and trainer Eugen Moldovan Alexandru Andrási in Divizia C, for which the starting right from the Season Winner Divizia D had been bought from the Covasna county. After poor results in the first match day of the season coach Moldovan resigned and was replaced by player-coach Cristian Vasc, who joined before the season of FC Braşov to Forex. At the end of the 2003/04 season was the twelfth laid the relegation, then on 1 June 2004 and Andrási Vasc were dismissed by its patron Ţucunel. In June 2004 Ţucunel reached in negotiations with the leaders of the previous season ranked in fifth place local rivals ROMRADIATOARE Braşov that joined this Forex. Forex took all his contractual obligations, the players and coaches Decebal Câmpeanu of ROMRADIATOARE and received in return the starting place in the third- highest division. In July 2004, with Adrian Hârlab, the former coach of CF Predeal, a new head coach obliged, who was assisted by Decebal Câmpeanu. Also succeeded Ţucunel in autumn 2004, the former coach Nicolae Proca as a consultant for the " Ranger" (Romanian: pădurarii ) to win, so that in the 2004/05 season, after thirteen consecutive victories in the second half, the rise in the Divizia B succeeded. On 2 July 2008 Alin Artimon signed a one year contract as coach at Forex and started with a strongly tapered team in the new season. However, the 2008/09 season was artimon on 22 September 2008 after six games again dismissed and replaced by the former assistant coach Calin Moldovan. On 21 October 2008, the President of the Association, Nicolae Ţucunel, and the sports director, Ilie Luca gave, announced that the club had withdrawn its first football team due to " lack of perspective " with immediate effect from the operation of the Championship League II. At this time there was the club to win just one win and two draws in the first ten games, relegated to the last place. Only the children's and youth teams were initially maintained. Calin Moldovan received in January 2009 signed a contract as an assistant coach by Alexandru Pelici at ARIESUL Turda.

In the 2009/10 season Forex yet started under Florin Dârvăreanu, the former youth coach and former assistant coach of Calin Moldovan, with a very young team in the league and finished IV in the relay of the circle Braşov fourth. Calin Moldovan returned in the summer of 2010 returned as head coach and continued the collaboration with Florin Dârvăreanu continued as an assistant. Stadium

The stadium in the Forex fought out their home games, was built in 1940 and served for many years under the name Stadionul Tractorul the second division Tractorul Brasov as homestead. It was bought by Ţucunel 2002 for $ 30,000 and completely renovated in spring 2003. Further modernization work was in 2005 after the rise of Forex in the Divizia B instead. Immediately after the withdrawal of forex from the Liga II in October 2008, gave Ţucunel, who had meanwhile been appointed president of the Commerce and Industry Chamber of Braşov, announced that for the year 2009 of a hotel demolition of the stadium and the construction of a shopping center and was provided on the now ten million dollars expensive premises.

Others

In the spring of 2004, a Men's volleyball team played its league games under the name of CSU Forex Braşov. The club with which it was the successor club of Tractorul Brasov, but declined for financial reasons not to relegation matches representing grants for promotion to the first division, and in part was then nearing resolution. The men's basketball team was able, however, as planned in the 2004/05 season to participate in the operation of the first Romanian League championship.

2004 CSU Forex Braşov was also one of the leading clubs in Romania in the field of rhythmic gymnastics.
