FK Donji Srem

The FK Donji Srem (full official name in Serbian: Фудбалски клуб Доњи Срем, Fudbalski klub Donji Srem ) is a Serbian football club from the city Pećinci, which is located in the Opština Pećinci, and currently plays in the Super League, the top division of the country.

History

The club was founded in 1927 under the name Borac Pećinci. With the development of the city on Autoput A3 about 40 kilometers north of Belgrade to the district capital of the Okrug Srem parallel was the club's history. 2009, the ascent was made ​​in the Srpska Liga Vojvodina and a season later in the Prva Liga. The 2011/12 season they finished a sensational second place, who qualified for promotion to the Super League.

Stadium

The club stadium is the Suvača sports center that is currently being renovated. After the renovation, the stadium will have a capacity of 3,000 seats.
