Florian Mennigen
Florian Mennigen ( born April 10, 1982 in Ratzeburg ) is a German sweep rowers.
Florian Mennigen starts for the Ratzeburg Rowing Club. At the 2007 World Championships in Munich, he finished with Stephan Koltzk, Philipp Naruhn, Matthias flat and helmsman Martin Sauer third place in the four with coxswain. At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing Mennigen went to Germany in the eighth, with whom he finished last in pre-and repechage and the B-final. A year later he won the eighth at the World Rowing Championships 2009, the following year he was with this boat European and World champions.
In the 2012 Olympics he won the gold medal in London with the aft Germany.
