Ford Model B Standard Tudor (1932 )

The second Ford Model B is a mid-size car, the only 1932 by Ford in the United States in 1932, also in Cologne- Niehl of the German Ford Motor Company AG (from 1939: Ford -Werke AG) ( there as Ford Rheinland ) to succeed was the Model A produced and sold.

For use came a 4- cylinder in-line engine. The coupe was also called Deuce Coupe, was a popular hot rod and namesake for the album Little Deuce Coupe by the Beach Boys.

In the same body and a V8 was offered, but was called Ford Model 18.

The Model B was produced in the United States only in 1932. It originated 71 829 pieces. Successor was the almost identical model C.

Model BB

Similar to its predecessors, there were parallel even a truck on an equal basis with the designation Ford Model BB.

Rhineland

Ford Rheinland was from 1935 the name of the model B in Germany. From August 1933 all contributed in Cologne produced by Ford vehicles trademark the phrase " German product ". The model names were Germanized. So was the Ford Model B from the Rhineland. The car had three-speed transmission, rear wheel drive and a four- cylinder in-line petrol engine with 3286 cc (50 hp).

In Germany 1784 pcs Model B and Model 5575 piece Rhineland were produced.
