François Gonon

François Gonon ( born April 23, 1979) is a French orienteer. In 2011 he was World Champion with the French squadron.

Gonon ran his first World Championships as a 20 - year-old in Scotland Inverness. Gradually over the next few years he managed the connection to the top. 2005 and 2006, he finished in eleventh place overall World Cup and in 2007 the sixth. His first medal he won in 2005 at the World Championships in Japan in the French season, when he finished with Damien Renard and Thierry Gueorgiou place behind Norway. Also at the European Championships in 2006 in Estonia, the French won silver.
