François Migault

François Migault ( born December 4, 1944 in Le Mans, † 29 January 2012) was a French racing driver. 1972 to 1975 he participated in 13 Formula 1 Grand Prix.

Career

1970 and 1971 launched Migault in the French Formula 3 Championship for the team Tecno, but achieved no victory.

Making his first appearance in Formula 1 in 1972 in the British team had Migault Connew. His only start of the season was at the Grand Prix of Great Britain, who was the only race for the non- competitive team from Greater London simultaneously.

After an unsuccessful year in Formula 2 with the French team pygmée he played the 1974 season with the exception of some race again in Formula 1 for the traditional racing team BRM. Again Migault could achieve no championship points and had to settle for 14th place at the Grand Price from France settle as best season and at the same time formula 1 result his career.

In 1975, he contested two races for Graham Hills Embassy Hill team, but not classified in the final result. Before his Formula 1 career was finally over, Migault was reported at the Grand Prix of France for Frank Williams Racing Cars and qualified for the 24th starting position. Due to engine problems in training but he could not start the race.

1976 moved Migault back into the formula 2 to the Italian team Osella, his best result of the season was the sixth place at the BARC 200, which gave him a championship point and the 17th overall.

From 1972 to 2002 Migault was 24 times in the 24 Hours of Le Mans at the start, his best results were the second rank in 1976 and the third places in 1974 and 1981.
