Fričovce

Fričovce ( German Friedrichsdorf, Hungarian FRICS ) is a city and a municipality in eastern Slovakia, with 1092 inhabitants ( 31 December 2011). It is located in Okres Prešov, Prešov kraj a part of.

Geography

The municipality is located in the mountains Šarišská Highlands Svinka the river, east of the Central Mountains Branisko, 22 kilometers west of Prešov located.

History

The town was founded around 1300 and is first mentioned in 1320. 1828 are listed 73 houses and 540 inhabitants.
