Gamvik is a commune in the Norwegian province (county ) Finnmark. It includes the settlements Mehamn, Skjånes, Langfjordnes, Nervei and Gamvik. Administrative headquarters are Mehamn.

Gamvik located on the coast of the Barents Sea in the eastern half of the Nordkyn Peninsula. With the Cape Kinnarodden the northernmost point of continental Europe lies in the municipality area. By 2000 Gamvik was the northernmost point of application of the Hurtigruten.

About 3 kilometers north of the town is the northernmost lighthouse on mainland Europe Slettnes fyr, which can also be visited for a fee.

Also located in Gamvik perhaps the most northerly mainland campsite in the world, the so-called "Camp 71 ° N".
