The Georgian Bay Islands National Park (English Georgian Bay Islands National Park of Canada, French Parc national du Canada des Îles -de- la- Baie- Georgienne ) is established in 1929 Canadian National Park, in the Georgian Bay of Lake Huron at Port Severn in the Canadian province of Ontario is an area of 26 km ².
Natural site
The park consists of 63 small islands and forms a section of the world 's largest freshwater archipelago, consisting of a total of about 30,000 islands. The landscape shape ruffled Weymouth pine trees and bare rocks that inspired the artists group of the Group of Seven to images made known this area in the Canadian public by the wind. The largest island is Beausoleil Iceland.
