April discovered the men is an American comedy film from 1959 with the main cast Sandra Dee and James Darren. The film is based on the novel Gidget, the Little Girl with Big Ideas by Frederick Kohner in 1957, in which he processed his experiences of his daughter Kathy ( Kathy Kohner - Zuckerman ) in the surfer subculture on the beaches of Malibu.

Action

Frances Lawrence, known to all as April, is a model student and expects her 17th birthday. During a trip to the beach of Santa Monica, with her three best friends, they meet a group of surfers, but not interested in the flappers.

The Surfer Moon Puppy saves April from drowning. April decides to learn how to surf and buy from Stinky a used surfboard. First, it is ridiculed by the male through and through beach clique only, but is increasingly being recognized with increasing skills on the surfboard.
