Gregg Alexander

Gregg Alexander ( born May 4, 1970 in Grosse Pointe, Michigan; artist name Alex Ander ) is an American musician and producer who became known as the head of the New Radicals.

Career

As a teenager, Gregg Alexander went to Los Angeles, signed a record deal with 19 years released his debut album Michigan Rain. After this and the follow-up album Intoxifornication was unsuccessful, he limited himself to writing for other artists and made trips abroad before 1997, the New Radicals founded. Although the debut album was very successful, he dissolved the band shortly afterwards in order to concentrate on the work as a music producer. Among other things, he worked there together with Sophie Ellis -Bextor, Ronan Keating and Enrique Iglesias. Several times he also produced successful together with Rick Nowels, who is also the co -author of the biggest hits of the New Radicals You Get What You Give.
