Guti

José María Gutiérrez Hernández ( born October 31, 1976 in Torrejón de Henares, Community of Madrid ), player name Guti, is a former Spanish footballer, who played from 1995 to 2010 with Real Madrid and last stood at Beşiktaş Istanbul under contract. The Spaniard was a versatile player, his preferred position was that of the game designer as an attacking midfielder.

Career

Association

Guti went through all the youth teams of Real Madrid before finally moving in the season 1995/ 96 from the B team in the professional cadres of the people of Madrid. In his first season for the Royal he had nine appearances in the Primera División. He made his debut on December 2, 1995 matchday 15, against FC Sevilla. The former Madrid coach Jorge Valdano moved Guti in the 60th minute for Amavisca. On his next assignment, the midfielder a quarter had to wait. Thus Guti at Real has three times won the UEFA Champions League during his time without attaining a final. On 30 August 2002 he was in the starting lineup of the team Feyenoord Rotterdam in the match for the UEFA Super Cup 3-1 beat, while he managed to score a goal. It was the first international final victory for Guti. On 3 December 2002, he appeared as a substitute in the match for the World Cup against Club Olimpia in the 82nd minute for Ronaldo; his team won 2-0.

Two years earlier he had been the full 90 minutes on the field, as it went against the CA Boca Juniors from Argentina in the World Cup final. At that time, but lost 1:2 Real.

After Zinedine Zidane announced his retirement in the summer of 2006, Guti moved for the new season in the creative department of the club. In this role, he helped the team to 30 league title in club history.

At the beginning of the 2009/10 season came to Madrid Kaka and Guti initially displaced from its place. With the start of the 2010/11 season he played for the Turkish club Besiktas Istanbul, the his former Real coach Bernd Schuster coached. Guti has signed a 2.7 million euro annually doped two-year contract. His first goal for Beşiktaş Guti scored in a 4-0 victory in the play-off second leg of the UEFA Europa League against HJK Helsinki. In early December 2010, he became involved after his team's 1-0 win against Bursaspor in an accident and stopped with 2.71 ‰ blood alcohol content of the police. Subsequently, he was threatened with a longer driver's license loss. Mid-November 2011, the Treaty of Guti was terminated prematurely.

After the beginning of the season 2012/13 contract negotiations failed with interested clubs, Guti ended July 12, 2012 his active career. In August 2013, he returned as a coach in the youth field to Real Madrid.

National

In the Spanish national team Guti came on 13 inserts (3 goals). His debut celebrated on May 5, 1999, when he came off the bench in a friendly against Croatia. In the following years he came sporadically used. He scored his first international goal on 12 October 2002 qualification match for the Euro 2004 against Northern Ireland in which he for the first time was in the starting of the Selección. His last game for the national team, he played on 9 February 2005 against San Marino.
