Hanley Ramírez ( born December 23, 1983 in Samana, Dominican Republic) is a Dominican baseball player in the MLB.

Hanley Ramírez began as a child in his home Samana with the baseball games. There he was discovered by the player scouts Levy Ochoa and Julian Camilo and commissioned in 2005 by the Boston Red Sox under contract. He was committed for the 2006 season together with Aníbal Sánchez, Jesús Delgado and Harvey García in exchange for Josh Beckett, Guillermo Mota, and Mike Lowell from the Florida Marlins.

Season 2006

Ramírez was used in 2006 in the newly formed team the Marlins on the position of the shortstops.
