Henry Simmons

Henry Simmons ( born July 1, 1970 in Stamford, Connecticut; native Henry Oswald Simmons Jr. ) is an American actor.

Life and achievements

Simmons, son of a taxman and a teacher, has a twin sister. He graduated in 1992 with a degree in economics at Franklin Pierce College ( New Hampshire). At times, he worked in a financial company.

Simmons made ​​his debut as an actor in an episode of the comedy series Saturday Night Live from 1994, in which he replaced an injured colleague. In the sports drama Above the Rim (1994 ), he was seen on the side of Duane Martin, Tupac Shakur and Marlon Wayans. In the film drama On the Q.T. (1999 ), he starred opposite James Earl Jones one of the major roles; larger roles he also took in the comedy Snow Days (1999), in sports drama A Gentleman 's Game (2001) and in historical drama Spartacus ( 2004).
