Hermann I, Landgrave of Thuringia

Hermann I (* 1155, † April 25, 1217 in Gotha ) from the family of Ludowinger was Count Palatine of Saxony and Landgrave of Thuringia.

Life

Hermann was the younger son of Louis II of Hungary and his wife Jutta, a half-sister of Emperor Frederick Barbarossa.
