Heuerßen

Heuerßen is a municipality in the district of Schaumburg, in Lower Saxony. The municipality belongs to the Samtgemeinde Lindhorst and has 958 inhabitants and an area of 3.97 km ².

Geography

Geographical Location

The municipality and the district Kobbensen lies on the northwestern edge of the Bückeberg that leads to the former border between the Altkreisen Schaumburg -Lippe and Schaumburg County, right on the B65 directly from Hagen Bad nominal village. The rural character of the village has been preserved to this day.

Clockwise is this the communities Lindhorst and Beckedorf, the City and the municipality of Hagen Ludersfeld.

History

Heuerßen

Already in pre-Christian times, the area was settled. 1891 burial ground was uncovered with about 40 urns which has been dated to about 600 BC. A 1932 bared mound grave proved to be the tomb of a warrior from the Bronze Age. The first mention was made in 1224 as Hoiersem. The occasion was the override of a hoofs of land to the monastery Bischoperode in Hagen. Older documents are referred to by historians as a later forgery and burned in 1943 in Hildesheim. In the division of the old county of Schaumburg 1647/1648 Heuerßen came to Lippe part and thus the later Principality of Schaumburg Lippe. Here, the village belonged to the Official City of Hagen and 1884-1899 for District Office District City Hagen Hagen castle. From 1899 to April 1948, the county town of Hagen was responsible, then to 31 July 1977, the district of Schaumburg -Lippe. Since August 1, 1977 Heuerßen is a member municipality of the district of the newly formed Schaumburg. Since March 1, 1974, the municipalities Heuerßen, Lindhorst, Beckedorf and Ludersfeld form the Municipality Lindhorst.

From 1871 to 1920 formed Heuerßen and Reinsen a rural community. In 1928 the incorporation of the Lohhofes. By the end of the 60s of the last century the town had fewer than 300 inhabitants. Kobbensen

Kobbensen was first mentioned in 1215 as in villa Cobbenhusen. In a document Bishop Konrad von Minden transferred the monastery Oberkirchen a house. Lohhof

Structures

  • The hall church of St. Jürgen was built in the 11th or 12th century sandstone in the Romanesque style. The cross vaults have already late Gothic ribs that are on consoles in the Gothic chancel. The year 1565 through a portal indicates a renovation.
  • The manor Remeringhausen is immediately adjacent to the local situation Heuerßen, but is already on the territory of the City of Hagen. It is a sprawling manor with a 1599 built in the Weser Renaissance style mansion. A landscape park completes the ensemble.

Clubs
