Hiraç Yagan

Hiraç Yagan ( armen. Հիրաչ Յագան, Hiratsch Jagan, born January 3, 1989 in Etterbeek, Belgium ) is an Armenian- Belgian footballer on the position of midfielder. He is now at the Belgian club Standard Liege under contract and is also since 2009 A-National player of Armenia.

Career

Career start in Etterbeek

The son of Armenian immigrants began his active career as a football player in 1995 in his hometown of central Belgian Etterbeek, where the newcomers FC Etterbeek Armenia he was active first. Professional debut at Standard Liege

To his professional debut for the Walloons Yagan finally came on 14 February 2009 when he came on the lawn in a 4-0 home win over his later Leihverein, the AFC Tubize, in the 73 minutes for the Belgian Steven Defour top talent. In the two playoff games in which Yagan, however, was not used, Liege first reached a draw and could win the second game by a penalty from Axel Witsel 1-0 and so crowned Belgian champions. In addition, the Armenian origin player of Belgian Supercup winner was after his team defeated without Yagans participation KRC Genk 2-0.

After the automatic qualification for the UEFA Champions League 2009/10 Yagan came mainly in the U-21 team of the club to use and was allowed on 27 October 2009 recorded a 86- minute use in the Belgian Cup of the season 2009/10 season. Internationally

In 2009, Yagan was first appointed to the cadre of Armenian U-21 National Team, currently still participates with the on qualifying U-21 European Championship. He completed to date ( as at 23 July 2010) six of the previous eight qualifying matches of his team and ranks with the team currently in group 2 in fourth place. His U-21 national team debut Yagan on June 9, 2009, when he stood in the 2:5 home defeat against the Turkish U -21 from the start on the field and was replaced from the 60 minutes by David Manoyan. About three months later he scored in only his second U-21 international match, in which he stood in the square over the entire playing time, his first U-21 hits.
