Schloss Hornberg

Horn is a municipality in the district of Arbon in the canton of Thurgau in Switzerland.

Geography

Horn is the easternmost town in the canton. As they exclave surrounded by the canton of St. Gallen. The site is bounded on the east by Goldach, to the south by Tübach and to the west by Steinach. The Lake Constance forms the northern border. The municipality has three docks.

Attractions

The horn castle was built in the second half of the 16th century by Bartholomew Schobinger for the monastery Ochsenhausen. In 1769 it was the Grisons General Johann Victor III. acquired by Travers.
