Huaral District

Huaral is one of the 12 districts of the province Huaral in Peru. At 640.76 km ² area is home to around 86 844 inhabitants. On October 31, 1890 Huaral officially became a district of Chancay.

Huaral bordered to the north by the province of Huaura, to the east by Huari (district ) in the south Aucallama (district) and Sumbilca (district); and to the west by Chancay (district).

The acting mayor of the municipality is called Jaime Cirilo Uribe Ochoa (2007-2010).
