Huliaipole
Huljajpole (Ukrainian Гуляйполе; Russian Гуляйполе / Guljaipole ) is a small town located in the Zaporizhia Oblast in the south-central Ukraine on the river Hajtschur ( Гайчур ). Huljajpole is located 98 km east of Oblastzentrum Zaporizhia and is the administrative center of the homonymous Rajons with 14,700 inhabitants ( 2013).
Municipality
For the municipality include not only the city itself, the villages Wessele (Ukrainian Веселе ) Satyschschja (Ukrainian Затишшя ) Selenyj Haj (Ukrainian Зелений Гай ) and Marfopil (Ukrainian Марфопіль ).

History
The town was founded in 1785 and had 150 inhabitants in 1788. The city was known by the born here in 1888 and founder of the anarchist Nestor Makhno Machnowschtschina partisan movement. Since 1938 Huljajpole has the status of a city.
