If It's Lovin ' That You Want is a song by Rihanna from her debut album Music of the Sun from the year 2005. The song was written by Samuel Barnes Scott LaRock, Makeba Riddick, Alexsander Mosely, Jean -Claude Oliver and Lawrence Parker. It was released on 28 November 2005 as the second and final single from the album.
Background
The title was produced by Poke & Tone, the song is - according to Rihanna - a declaration of love to a man: " If it's lovin 'that you want, you shoulderstand make me your girl Because I've got what you need". A sequel to the song If It's Lovin ' That You Want - Part 2 ( feat. Cory Gunz ), is included on Rihanna's second album, A Girl Like Me (2006). This version was in the pilot episode played by the series Gossip Girl. The song contains a sample of The Bridge Is Over by Boogie Down Productions.
Music Video
The music video for It's Lovin ' If You Want was taken on a beach on the coast of California. As a director Marcus Raboy acted; the dance choreography is by the choreographer Fatima Robinson. Rihanna explained that the video of it RELATES " to have fun and to unfold the Caribbean style ". " I move the camera as if the camera would be my friend. [ ... ] It is always incredible. "Some scenes show Rihanna with belly dance movements and on a jet ski.

If It's Lovin ' That You Want was released as the second single by Pon de Replay and reached number 36 on the Billboard Hot 100 Worldwide, the chart success was even greater in Poland and Slovakia, the single reached the Top 5 in Australia and New Zealand the Top Ten and # 11 in the UK UK Singles Chart. It was also Rihanna's first number -one hit in the Philippines. The song was by the RIAA with gold.
