Inverno e Monteleone

Inverno e Monteleone is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1424 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Province of Pavia in Lombardy. The community is located approximately 18.5 kilometers east of Pavia in Pavese and directly borders the province of Lodi. The administrative headquarters is located in the district of Inverno.

History

Both villages, Inverno e Monteleone are first mentioned in the 10th century. 1872 two communities are united under the name Invernos. Since 1961, the community bears its present name.

Traffic

Passing through the municipality, the former State Road 412 della Valle Tidone (now a provincial road ) from Milan / Noverasco after Romagnese ( Passo del Penice ).
