ISO 3166-2:RS
The list of ISO -3166 -2 codes for Serbia contains the codes for the 32 administrative units.
The codes are composed of two parts which are separated by a hyphen. The first part is the country code according to ISO 3166-1 ( for Serbia RS ), the second the code for the administrative unit again. The current country code has been updated in the eighth newsletter of 17 April 2007 (PDF) last.
The administrative units are divided here into a city, two autonomous provinces and 29 districts.

Autonomous provinces
1 The autonomous province of Kosovo declared itself independent in February 2008, but is still regarded by Serbia as part of the country. An ISO 3166 code for the new state has not yet been awarded.
