Jæren

Jæren is a coastal landscape in the southwest of Norway, which extends over about 65 km. It is located south of the Boknafjord and northwest of the landscape Dalane in Rogaland Fylke. The area of ​​the landscape is 1070 km ².

Often in North Jæren (north) and Sør- Jæren is divided Jæren (south). The south consists of the municipalities Klepp (11) Time ( 23) and Hå ( 7), in the northern part are the municipalities Randa Mountain (14 ), Stavanger (20) Sola ( 19) and Sandnes (16 ) and parts of the municipalities Bjerkreim (1) and Gjesdal (6).
