Javier Portillo 2003

Javier García Portillo ( born March 30, 1982 in Aranjuez ) is a Spanish football player. His preferred position is that of the center-forward.

Career

The center forward came in 1994 in the youth of Real Madrid, where he played successfully in the various junior categories. In the 2001 /02 season he was for the Second Team of the people of Madrid, Real Madrid Castilla, active and made his debut on 20 March 2002 in the first squad, at the Champions League game against Panathinaikos Athens. Already his first appearance he crowned with a gate.

Portillo, who holds the record in Real Madrid's youth with more than 150 hits, walked in the summer of 2002 on the squad of the first team, where he, however, could not secure a regular place in two seasons. Thus, the club finally gave him in the summer of 2004 to the Italian first division club Fiorentina, where he mostly in the midfield came to train. The departure of Fernando Morientes in January 2005, and the resulting striker shortage, the Real Madrid led early on the lending transaction ended, and Portillo took the squad again, but under coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo he managed only two league bets.

The 2005/06 season he played on loan for FC Bruges and brought it in 24 league operations on eight goals. He also contributed two goals in the Champions League and the UEFA Cup.

After his return to Real Madrid this transferred the striker in the summer of 2006, newly promoted Gimnàstic de Tarragona, where he was immediately relegated again the Catalans could not prevent despite eleven hits. From 2007 to 2009 Portillo worked for CA Osasuna. After two years with Osasuna, he joined Hércules CF, which he ascended into the Primera División 2009/10. In 2011 he left Hércules in the Segunda División in the direction of UD Las Palmas.

After just one season he returned to Hércules CF.
