Jesse Leach

Jesse David Leach ( born July 3, 1978 in Providence, Rhode Iceland ) is an American singer. He is a member of the band Killswitch Engage, The Empire Shall Fall and Times of Grace. He was also active in the band Seemless.

Career

Leach took his first musical steps the mid-1990s in the bands Corrin and Nothing Stays Gold. In 1999, he joined the band Killswitch Engage, which it released the self-titled debut album in the year. Two years later, the album Alive or Just Breathing. Towards the end of the tour of North America Leach left the band. He had married previously and suffered from depression during the tour. Finally, he informed his bandmates by e -mail about his exit. Years later, Leach said in an interview that he at that time lacked the tour experience and was not prepared for this life.

After Leach was able to overcome his depression, he joined the hard rock band Seemless, which released two studio albums. After the drummer Derek Kerswill Seemless - joined Unearth in 2008, Seemless is dissolved. Leach then founded the metalcore band The Empire Shall Fall, which so far released two albums. Together with the Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz - Leach founded in 2008, the band Times of Grace, who three years later it remains the only album The Hymn of a Broken Man brought out. In January 2012, Leach returned to Killswitch Engage, after his successor Howard Jones got off because of a diabetes disease.
