John B. Sollenberger Trophy

The John B. Sollenberger Trophy is an award from the American Hockey League. It has been awarded since the end of the season 1947/48 year to the point best players in the regular season.

The trophy was named in 1955 by John B. Sollenberger, a long time as a manager and president of the Hershey Bears in the league worked. Prior to the award after Wally Kilrea was named, who had held the points record in the AHL until the start of season 1947/48, but was named after the season after the first winner Carl Liscombe, who had also broken also Kilreas record.
