John Verhoek

John Verhoek, 2013

John Verhoek [ vərhuk ] ( born March 25, 1989 in Leidschendam ) is a Dutch football player. Since 2013 he is the second division club FC St. Pauli under contract.

Career

Verhoek comes from the youth of ADO Den Haag, but his professional career began at FC Dordrecht, for which he was active from 2008 to 2010. He joined the 2010/11 season for FC Den Bosch, for whom he scored ten goals in 17 second-division games before bringing him into the winter break Rennes in Ligue 1. He received a four and a half year contract, however, came in the first half only to seven inserts without matches and was the beginning of the 2011/12 season not even to League squad. End of August 2011 awarded the Bretons Verhoek to ADO Den Haag; in the Eredivisie he should gather more match practice. In the 2012/13 season Verhoek played on loan at German second division club FSV Frankfurt.

For the 2013/14 season Verhoek moved to FC St. Pauli. He signed a contract until 30 June 2016.
