Jonas Enlund

Jonas Enlund ( born November 3, 1987 in Helsinki ) is a Finnish professional ice hockey player who is under contract with Sibir Novosibirsk HK in the Kontinental Hockey League since 2010.

Career

Jonas Enlund began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of the HIFK Helsinki for the Junior B and later A-Juniors he was active from 2002 to 2006. He was then selected in the sixth round in the NHL Entry Draft in 2006 as a total 165 players from the Atlanta Thrashers for which, however, he never played. Instead, he remained in his native Finland and joined Tappara Tampere, for which he stood from 2006 to 2010 in the SM- liiga, the top division of Finland on the ice.

For the season 2010/11 Enlund was obliged by HK Sibir Novosibirsk of the Kontinental Hockey League.

Internationally

For Finland Enlund participated in the U18 Junior World Championship 2005, as well as the U20 World Junior Championships 2007 part. From 2005 to 2007 he represented the Under-20 national team in a total of nine games in the Mestis, the Finnish second division, on the ice.
