Juab County, Utah
Juab County is a county located in the state of Utah in the United States. 2010, the County had 10,246 inhabitants. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Nephi.
Geography
The county has a total area of 8822 square kilometers. Of these 38 square kilometers of water. It cross- clockwise to the County: Tooele County, Utah County, Millard County, Sanpete County and White Pine County ( Nevada).
History
Juab County was founded in 1852. It received its name from a Native American word for valley ( valley ) Juab.

According to the census of 2000, there were 8,238 people in Juab County. There were 2,456 households and 1,981 families. The population density was 1 people per square kilometer. The racial the population was composed of 96.56 % White, 0.15 % African American, 1.02 % Native American, 0.34 % Asian, 0.05% Pacific Islander residents from the and 0.86 % from other races groups; 1.02% were descended from two or more races. 2.63% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
Of the 2,456 households out of which 49.30 % have children under the age of 18 living with them. 69.10 % were married couples living together, 7.90% had a female householder with no husband. 19.30 % were non-families. 17.50% of all households and 9.10% had someone living alone at the age of 65 years or older. The average household size was 3.31 and the average family size was 3.79 persons.
Based on the county the population was spread out with 38.60 % under the age of 18, 9.40 % from 18 to 24, 25.20% from 25 to 44 years, 16.90 % between 45 and 64 years and 9.80% were 65 years old or older. The average age was 26 years. For every 100 females there were 100.30 males to 100 females age 18 and over, there were 96.50 males.
The median income for a household was $ 38,139, and the median income for a family was $ 42,655. Males had a median income of $ 33,621, women $ 21,394. The per capita income was $ 12,790. 10.40 % of the population and 7.90% of families are below the poverty line. 10.70% of those under age 18 and 14.50% were 65 years or older.
