Julie Dibens

Julie Dibens ( born April 3, 1975 in Salisbury as Julie Ricketts ) is a British triathlete, World Champion in Cross Triathlon (2007, 2008, 2009 ), world champion in the triathlon half-distance (2009) and Ironman champion ( 2011).

Career

Since 1991, Julie Dibens denied swimming competitions in the UK and in 1997 she started triathlon. In 2000, she finished third in the European Championship on the triathlon sprint, and in 2009 was Julie Dibens world champion on the middle distance ( Ironman 70.3: 1,9 km swimming, 90 km cycling and 21.1 km running). They reached the first woman to a time less than four hours on this distance.

In 2010 she was in Hawaii third in the world championship on the Ironman distance.

In Cross - Triathlon Dibens managed in 2009 her third world title in a row and it was 2010 Hawaii Vice World Champion.

She now lives with her husband Michael in Boulder.
