Jürgen Colombo

Jürgen Colombo ( born September 2, 1949 in Zielona Góra ) is a retired German racing cyclist.

In 1971, Jürgen Colombo third in the team pursuit at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships in Varese ( with Günter Haritz, Udo Hempel and Peter Vonhof ). The following year, he won with the train of four ( Haritz, Hempel and Günther Schumacher ) coach Gustav Kilian the gold medal at the 1972 Olympics in Munich.

Colombo now lives in Grafenau Dätzingen and operates a bike shop.
