Juuso Hietanen

Juuso Hietanen ( born June 14, 1985 in Hämeenlinna ) is a Finnish professional ice hockey player who is since 2011 in Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in the Kontinental Hockey League contract. His father Juha was also a professional hockey player.

Career

Juuso Hietanen began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of HPK Hämeenlinna, for the first team, he made his debut in the SM- liiga in the season 2003/ 04. In his rookie year, the defenders remained point - and impunity in two games and also completed three games as Players out on loan for the Finnish U20 national team in the second-rate Mestis. In the following season he was temporarily loaned to HPKS League rivals Pelicans Lahti, for which he was in 15 games on the ice. In the following years he became one of the regulars in his home team, with whom he won the Finnish championship title in the 2005/06 season. From 2007 to 2010 was Hietanen in his first foreign stop for three years at Brynäs IF in the Swedish Elitserien under contract. He then moved within the league for the HV71, for in 59 games, he scored a total of ten goals in the 2010/11 season and were 24 templates. He was obliged Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod of the Kontinental Hockey League for the 2011/12 season.

Internationally

For Finland Hietanen participated in the junior level at the U20 World Junior Championship in 2005. In the senior level in 2010 and 2011 he was in the squad of his country at the Euro Hockey Tour and the World Cup in 2010. At the Olympics 2014 he won the bronze medal with the Finnish national team.
