Kaohsiung

Kaohsiung (Chinese高雄市, Pinyin Kaohsiung Shì, Tongyong Pinyin Gaosyóng Shih, W.-G. Kao -hsiung shih, PEH oē - jī Co- Hiong - chhi, Japanese: Takao ), is the second largest city of the Republic of China on Taiwan. She is one of five centrally-administered cities of the Republic of China and divided into 38 districts.

Kaohsiung is located in southwestern Taiwan in the South China Sea and has the most important port in the country. Here, most of the Taiwanese oil imports is handled, processed by the surrounding industry.

Geography

Kaohsiung is located in the southwest of the island of Taiwan. History

Tourism
