The Motorway M-10 is a highway in Pakistan to the purposes of the northern bypass of the city of Karachi.
Construction
The M-10 was built between 2004 and 2007 and opened in August 2007. Currently, there are two lanes per carriageway. A six-lane extension of the motorway is located at the planning stage. There are construction costs of a billion PKR (equivalent to about 8.17 million euros ) estimated.
Bridge collapse
On 1 September 2007, a bridge collapse in Karachi occurred along the highway. Six people were killed in this accident. The Mayor of Karachi mayor said that the bridge by the National Highway Authority was planned and built and was officially opened by the Presidents Pervez Musharraf.
