Katinka Hosszú

Katinka Hosszú ( May 3, 1989 in Pécs ) is a Hungarian swimmer. She swims in the disciplines of documents and butterfly, in relay events also freestyle. It was 2009 and 2013 world champion in the 400 meters individual medley, 200m individual medley in 2013 also. She holds the short course world records in all three capable of stretching.

Career

At the European Short Course Championships in 2012 Hosszú won the competitions over 200m butterfly and 200m individual medley in a few minutes in the exact same time of 2:05,78 min.

From August 7 to 11 Hosszú presented at the World Cup events in Eindhoven and Berlin on the short track six world records on the location routes on. For this they received around 80,000 euros in prize money and bonuses.
