Kidane-Mariam Teklehaimanot

Kidane - Mariam Teklehaimanot ( born September 10, 1933 Monoxoito, Ethiopia; † 2 June 2009) was Bishop of the Eparchy of Adigrat the Ethiopian Catholic Church.

Life

Kidane - Mariam Teklehaimanot received on 20 December 1964, the ordination.

Pope John Paul II appointed him in 1984 for the fifth bishop of the Eparchy of Adigrat the Ethiopian Catholic Church. He received his episcopal consecration on 10 February 1985, the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Addis Ababa and later Cardinal Paulos Tzadua; Co-consecrators were his predecessor Sebhat - Leab Worku SDB, and Zekarias Yohannes, Auxiliary Bishop of the Eparchy of Asmara. He was the representative of Ethiopia to the Association of Episcopal Conferences in Eastern Africa ( AMECEA ).
