Kids in the Way

Kids in the Way ( abbreviated KITW ) is a Christian alternative rock band from Noblesville, Indiana. The band was founded in 1997 under the name Serenity and broke up in summer 2007. In 2009, the band founded new. They are currently on the "Back in the Game Tour " in Germany. As musical influences they call Thrice, AFI, Mew, Bush, M83, Sigur Rós, Brand New and AC / DC.

History

In 1997, the singer David Pelsue, guitarist Nathan Ehman and drummer Eric Carter founded the band. When they were known under the name Serenity, they played much softer rock than after the name change.

As a Kids in the Way they released the Self Titled EP, by their success, they publish more shots and were able to play some shows with Audio Adrenaline. This was particularly important for the conclusion of the contract with Flicker Records. After the successful release of their first album Safe from the Losing Fight they came with bigger bands like Fireflight, Pillar and Relient K on.

2007, dissolved the band to unknown reasons and even said one has already begun headlining tour with them from, but already in 2009 followed reunification. Then they played a few shows in their home state of Indiana.

On 12 January 2010, the band announced that they are working on a yet-unnamed EP, which should be published in March.
