Kinding is a market in the Upper Bavarian district of Eichstätt and nationally recognized resort.

Geography

Kinding lies at the confluence of Anlauter, Schwarzach and Altmühltherme Altmühltal Nature Park.

The municipality consists of the villages Kinding Kinding, sink ring, Haunstetten, Erlingshofen, Badanhausen, Pfraundorf, Unteremmendorf, Ilbling, Berletzhausen, Kirchanhausen, sheep Hausen, Kratzmühle, Niefang, Furthof, Schlößlmühle, sheep Hauser mill and Eibwang.

History

Nature

Hermitage

South of Kinding is the karst cave hermitage. It is also called Binnleitenhöhle and is in the cave cadastre Franconian Alb ( HFA) regestriert with the cadastre number I 66. She was known by finds as living caves in the Stone Age.
