Kirschnaumen
Kirschnaumen ( German Kirchnaumen, Lorraine Naumen ) is a commune with 484 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region.
Geography
The community Kirschnaumen lies about halfway between Thionville and Merzig.
The municipality consists of the two northern hamlet Even Dorff ( Ewendorf ) and Obernaumen and also northern Homesteads Gold Hoff ( Goldhof ), Marie Hoff ( Marienhof ) and mid- Hoff ( Mittenhof ).
History
The place was first mentioned in the 10th century as Numagon and heard since 1661 to France.
