Klein Gladebrügge
Small Gladebrügge is a municipality in the district of Segeberg in Schleswig-Holstein.
Geography and transport
Small Gladebrügge is directly south of Bad Segeberg in a rural location on the River Trave. To the west runs the federal motorway 21 of Bad Segeberg to Bad Oldesloe, north of the federal motorway 20 of Bad Segeberg ( Weede ) to Lübeck.
History
The place is first mentioned in 1177, although the area has been described only forty years ago in the foundation charter of the castle, monastery and church in Bad Segeberg as forest area with pond. From 1 January 1974 to 31 December 1997 Small Gladebrügge formed together with Traventhal the town of Gross Gladebrügge.
Policy
Of the nine seats in the municipal council has the Wählergemeinschaft nuclear plant since the municipal election 2008, four seats, the voter community AWG three and the two SPD.

Economy
The municipal area is predominantly agricultural, but there are also commercial enterprises and some stables in the community.
Personalities
The philosopher Reinhard Brandt was born in 1937 in small Gladebrügge.
