Kusel (Verbandsgemeinde)

The community association Kusel is an administrative unit in the form of a local authority in the district of Kusel, in Rhineland -Palatinate. The municipality includes the town of Kusel, and 17 independent local communities, the administrative headquarters are in the eponymous town of Kusel.

History

The community association Kusel was formed on 1 January 1971 from projects launched in the 1960s, first in Rhineland-Palatinate administrative reform. She belonged to the Association of Municipalities in the district of Rheinhessen- Pfalz, which were prematurely built within the " voluntary " phase.
